All around the world, women share the same rights. The right to live a life free from violence and slavery; the right to be educated; the right to earn a fair and equal wage; the right to own property; the right to expression and freedom to vote. 
  
These are human rights, and human rights are inherent to all – without discrimination. 
  
Gender equality is not only a basic human right, but its achievement has enormous socio-economic ramifications. Empowering women fuels thriving economies, spurring productivity and growth. 
  
Unfortunately, we are a long way from realising this, with not one country in the world yet to achieve gender equality. 
  
Join us at the Women in Leadership Summit 2022 to help change this. 10% of event proceeds will be donated to support UN Women’s programmes in our neighbouring Pacific countries and around the world, ensuring all women and girls have equal opportunities.
