Greg is the Director at BCITO.  The organisation comprises 420 staff who provide direct educational support for employers and learners across 16 construction trades for all of New Zealand. Currently, the organisation has 16,000+ apprentices, over 1,200 of these are women.   

For many years Greg has been a driving force behind changing perceptions across construction in respect to removing barriers to entry and success for women. He believes in targeted approaches that shift behaviours, which are ultimately successful for all involved in the employment and training relationship.

Apart from his professional careers in the ITO and university sectors, Greg has a background in construction having completed his own apprenticeship as a young person and operating a successful business in the construction industry for several years.   

Greg has a Master of Education (Hons) from Massey University.
