Jeanette comes from the South Island originally, is married with two adult children and four
beautiful grandchildren.
She is the Chief Executive of the Physiotherapy Board (NZ) – a position she has held for 12 years.
Her background is predominantly in the health sector including the early health reforms,
establishment of the National Blood Service and Hospital executive management.
As a health regulator, this sits very well with her as in enables her to work closely with health
professionals and aligns with her background in patient safety.
She has held executive positions in Regional and Local Government also.
She has a very long list of interests in life – the main one being family but also including
gardening, getting outdoors, reading and current affairs.
